MR IMAGE DATASETS

The retrospective study was performed in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) regulations, with approval from our Institutional Review Board, and with a waiver of informed consent. MR image datasets were obtained from 240 patients (126 men and 104 women with an average age of 41 years and with an age range between 36 years and 35 years) who underwent a clinical MR examination of the knee at our institution using the same 3T scanner (Signa Excite HDx, GE Healthcare, Waukesha, WI) and 8-channel phased-array extremity coil (Invivo, Orlando, FL). The MR image datasets consisted of sagittal frequency-selective fat-suppressed T2-weighted fast spin-echo and sagittal intermediate-weighted fast spin-echo (Cartigram, GE Healthcare, Waukesha, WI) sequences. The imaging parameters of all sequences are summarized in Table.
